Acas has asked the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) to carry out research with employers and employee representatives who have used collective conciliation.
Collective conciliation is one of the main services Acas offers. It aims to resolve disputes between employers and groups of employees.
This research will help Acas improve its collective conciliation service.
Why we're contacting you
We're contacting you because Acas records show you were involved in a workplace dispute that used collective conciliation, as a representative of either management or employees.
What the research involves
This research will be a telephone survey, lasting around 30 minutes. After the call, the researcher might ask if you would like to take part in another interview or focus group.
During the telephone survey, the researcher will ask you questions about your experience of collective conciliation and the nature and outcome of the dispute.
You will remain completely anonymous and we will not tell anyone else that you've taken part in the research.
NatCen will write a report for Acas based on their findings, but they will not name any individuals or organisations. You can find more information in Acas's privacy notice.
